I really wanted more Homer and Harry Potter but got every little.

I've greatly enjoyed this entire series. For me it has mostly been a way to casually 'read' sermon-style commentaries for my own enrichment.

When I entered pastoral ministry a pastor of mine gave me this book and said he give it to everyone he knows entering ministry. It has become a book I go back to time and again.

One of the best translations that reads how most modern English speakers talk around the world. I love that it's not 'the King's English' or 'American English' or 'Australian English,' rather it's 'International English.' Not an easy feat.

Valuable window into the heart and mind of a great 19th century minister.
