This was a refreshing work. While he doesn't hammer out all the detail regarding the church discipilne process, he does something more basic which is the end goal of the process: forgiveness and all that it entails. Bash takes the reader through the concepts related to forgiveness and then goes through various books of the Bible to gather and summarize what they each teach on interpersonal forgiveness. This is a pretty refreshing read for our own socio-cultural moment when "cancel culture" rules and Christians participate in it. The author reminds us how we are to treat others especially to be ready to forgivene when confession and repentance are offered but even how to respond when they are not. Definitely recommend!
