What if your "happy place" isn't a beach, a holiday, or even your own home? Where is your Happy Place? As we continue our Songs of Ascents series in Psalm 122, we discover that our deepest happiness isn't found in a destination or circumstance, but in the presence of God with his people. Join us as we explore where our true "happy place" is and why lasting joy is found in Christ and his kingdom.

Our journey through life can sometimes feel like we are misinterpreted and misunderstood, or others twist our our words and we feel alone and helpless. Instead of responding in hostility or by compromising, this psalmist instead teaches us to entrust the situation to the Lord, just as Jesus did in his earthly life where his words were twisted and his enemies mocked him. He is the Prince of Peace who leads us to his City of Peace.

Colossians doesn’t end with a random list of names. It ends by showing how the gospel forms a community of friendship, partnership, kingdom vision, and faithfulness.
