I'm passionate and live my life to help my kids, God-kids, and others -- break through barriers and reach their maximum potential in Christ. I love helping people excel as they encounter life's biggest problems – guiding them recognize God-given strengths, they didn't realize they had.
I've had incredible challenges in life. When I was ten, I lost my dad, and my mom was in a horrific auto accident that left her in a wheel-chair; I took care of her until I was 25 and began an 11 year journey in higher ed. I wanted to be a physicist, but just after graduating high school, was in a catastrophic auto accident that left me paralyzed from the neck down. The doctors gave me two hours to live -- but within 10 months I learned to walk again. I’ve even been falsely accused of a crime I didn’t commit.
I have a B.S. in Religion, Ministerial; an M.A. in Leadership; an M.Div. (almost, didn’t finish for fear of Hebrew); and have played with electrical, architectural, and computer engineering as hobbies (with some higher ed). But my primary expertise is in the brain, specifically neurobiology and neurophysiology – and using that in Executive Coaching, Leadership Development, psychotherapy, non-profit work, and sales consulting. I’ve been blessed to be involved with many non-profits and relief organizations such as the Billy Graham Evangelical Organization and institutions specialized in areas such as water purification in Africa. As an aside, in 2019, I discovered I was an Aspie. Life is short. God is good. May I make the most out of the realities and loves I’m blessed to have.
