I Emmanuel
- It seems to be a very good book, but unfortunately Logos haven’t tagged the countless Greek and Hebrew words that literally form the basis of all the author’s arguments…as a result unless one has mastery of those languages, this book is essentially of no value. Regrettably I had to return it for a refund. This is a Logos publication, so I’m truly at loss as to why they’d fail to do such a basic editorial job of tagging this book to the Hebrew and Greek lemmas!
- Will there ever be the Acts, Philippians, Ephesians and Johannine epistles of this series here on Logos?
- We have made available all of the volumes currently available in paper by Eerdmans, the publisher of this series. Previously a volume on Philippians was available, but it was withdrawn from circulation by the publisher because it included plagiarism. We can only make further volumes available if the publisher produces additional volumes and also gives permission for them to be released in the Logos format.
- Joy and plagiarism . . . gotta be a joke there somewhere! have a blessed day! and thank you for the update!
- It is available its just not on this list. I already have it
- I have been searching on logos though for it by itself and I don't see it listed but I have it and have had it for a while. Not sure why it doesn't show up.
- It was one of the volumes with plagiarism acknowledged (https://bestcommentaries.com/book/3171/080102644X-john-plagiarism-acknowledged-andreas-j-k%C3%B6stenberger) so I'm sure it can't be sold, and if you have it, I'm guessing you acquired it before the plagiarism was noted.
- Whilst many of the individual resources in this collection are very good, unfortunately the vast majority of them are not tagged in the logos software. As a result, they do not improve your studying and research done through the logos software…you will have to use them individually. This is annoying as Logos market this by claiming it will: “jumpstart the effectiveness of your Factbook, Passage Guide, and Theology Guide”. This is clearly not the case…I had to return it for a refund.
- Thanks for posting this information.
- As an expositional preacher, I always start by reading the ZEC when I'm studying or researching a section of the biblical text I want to teach on. I then proceed to consolidate my learning and mastery by reviewing the same section in the NIGTC, WBC and NICNT. This series is a very good resource I heartily recommend.
