- I upgraded to Platinum with Logos 8. I have not been disappointed but wanted some more features. Logos 9 has those features in it and am sure I will not be disappointed. This is for serious study and for just preparing to teach and disciple others. I recommend the Logos 9 Platinum and look forward to learning all the new features.
- I bought Logos 8 platinum as well. To get full features, I went with the Logos 9 Full Feature set, since it was the cheapest option, and there was nothing more in Logos 9 gold or Platinum that I wanted. I also ended up going with Academic Professional, because it's the only way I could afford TDNT/TDOT, and ICC. It was cheap since I had already purchased the full feature set, and it also had more of the kind of content I was interested in. It's at the point now, where I've already got what I want, and just buy select Titles here and there. If they ever had some bundle that offered NICOT/NICNT at a more reasonable price (it's around $300 for OT/NT combined on my other Bible program), I would consider it. Right now, though, the cheapest you can get it is for around $940 (https://www.logos.com/product/205182/new-international-commentary-old-and-new-testament), and that's about as low as it gets here.
