• You have a typo above in the description. It says "The doctrine of Homousia states that God the Son is similar to, but not the same as, God the Father." It should be Homoiousia.
    1. While this is an excellent series, far superior to NPNF/ANF Schaff series, both in terms of scholarship & readability, I think the price is much too high. Also, you should come up with smaller packages that can be purchased at a reasonable rates, such as 20-30 volumes at a certain rate. I would like to have these but I won't pay this price, especially for some volumes which I would consider essential and others only secondary or tertiary for my own needs.
      1. HI Jacquelyn—You actually can purchase smaller packages! It's divided into 5 different collections. Read more about it here: https://blog.logos.com/2013/10/the-importance-of-the-church-fathers/ As far as the cost goes, this really is as cheap as you can find it anywhere. With the additional Pre-Pub price, this is definitely the best time to purchase this series (even if you want to purchase one of the smaller collections).
      2. It would be nice to see a detailed comparison chart of authors and titles comparing this to the old Schaff/Roberts set. I have Schaff/Roberts and I also have the entire Ancient Christian Commentary on Scripture and this looks interesting but I'd like to see how much overlap there is *IN DETAIL* between Schaff/Roberts and the CUA set before I commit $1500+ to it.
