I used this book as a source for a seminary paper on the warning passages in Hebrews. Dr. Schreiner's scholarship is fantastic and I learned a tremendous amount from this book. Any study of Hebrews would be well-informed by this work.

I turn to this systematic more than any other. Bird is an Anglican and subscribes to a thoroughly Reformed soteriology. Still, his approach is fair, informed, and ecumenical throughout. I think this should replace the most common systematics used in the academy.

A great companion to the book. I found the lectures to be approachable enough for well-studied lay people, but also a nice refresher for seminarians like myself. A great resource.

Wright and Bird have created a wonderful resource with The New Testament in Its World. So frequently I turn to this book just to brush up on the background of a text before I begin theological study. I have frequently found something in this book that I used as a launching off point for further research. I highly recommend this work.
