The bio on the author needs to be corrected to his emeritus status at Crandall University, probably formerly (?) Atlantic Baptist University.

I just did a check in Carson and Beale´s Commentary on the New Testament Use of the Old Testament and found that Evans is cited 201 times because of his works before this book being offered here. Clearly Carson and Beale think highly of him and his work. This new work must be worth the investment. Sign me up!

I used this in research for my ThM thesis: It states clearly, “we subscribe to the dictum that the meaning of a word is its use in the language.” Later it states, “Rather the primary function of this Dictionary is to organize and rationalize the available data about Hebrew words, enabling readers to make their own decisions about the meaning of words in the light of all the evidence, which has been arranged in such a way as to make that task feasible.” Although I found it did not do this for the word I was studying, I do believe this is a great tool and appreciate their attempts to follow this orientation. I too would like to know when you project to have this available.
