A unique collection of prayers inspired by the original prayers. Some of the shorter prayers genuinely seem to update the language to make it more understandable. However, most of the longer prayers seem to differ greatly from their source material, and it would be more accurate to describe them as inspired by rather than updated. This might could be a great means for someone to get exposed to the hearts of early church fathers, just realize quite a few creative liberties were taken in the crafting of this work.
