Devout Christians said the same things about Hitler and Mussolini. Using the Bible to promote a political agenda discredits both the Bible and those who do it. Evangelicals are already suffering a credibility gap because of their uncritical promotion of Trump. The publication date clearly precedes the insurrection of January 6th. If that does not clarify the issue in people's minds nothing will.
