Putting a review here because the average rating for this one is strange, given it’s quality. It deserves a higher average rating as it uniquely draws the reader to understand the Bible in its literary nature first (where others lean on history, academics, and tradition). The notes have always helped me understand the Bible on its own terms it it’s various genres. Highly recommend.
