- Outstanding course. Dr. Mike Licona methodically and systematically explores the philosophy of history as it applies to all history, and the resurrection of Jesus in particular. The course follows Dr. Licona's book, "Resurrection of Jesus: A New Historiographical Approach". HIs lecture style is relaxed and easy to absorb, making it an engaging experience. In depth and very detailed. Highly recommended!
- Excellent textbook, covering the origins of the biblical text, the transmission, and the history of the various translations. The author also discusses the microlevel and macrolevel structures found in the Scriptures, and how they contribute to proper biblical interpretation. Dr. Shepherd's insight on the compositional strategies of both the Hebrew Bible and the New Testament were fascinating and an eyeopener for me. Highly recommended!
- A superb, balanced, and detailed critique of Calvinist Soteriology. The author clearly presents his case, step-by-step, and addresses the objections/responses from Calvinist theologians. Meticulously researched, tracing the roots of Calvinism throughout history. Very detailed and exactly what I was looking for. Highly recommended!
- Superb material by Dr. Strauss (one of my favorite biblical scholars). Well organized with many biblical examples of the topic/subject he is addressing. His smooth presentation style keeps the viewer engaged. Dr. Strauss provides deep insight into the issues of original language translation and it is eye-opening. Highly recommended!
