There is a reason for this. Dr. Pipers ministry is based on generosity. Many, if not all of his books can also be downloaded for free from his website "Desiring God." He has truly tried to make his ministry accessible to anybody, regardless of financial ability; and keeping in respect of this, it is probably the reason this archive is priced as such.
