What would Jesus say if he were to appear to us this morning? Two thousand years ago, he appeared to John, giving him a vision and a message for the churches then. Today, he wants us to know that even though the church has left the building, Jesus is still in the house, and God still cares.

Jesus says, "don't be anxious," but in the midst of a global health crisis that's affecting everything from hospitals to schools to the economy, "panic" seems to be the order of the day. How can followers of Jesus live in such a way that the good news of the Kingdom of God goes forward? By staying informed, being flexible...and trusting in God's sovereignty.

Prayer is our first and most important work. The Kingdom of God comes through prayer and fasting. In this message we look at the prayer Jesus taught his disciples, and practice praying together. As you listen, pause the recording as needed and pray on your own, following along with the acronym PRAY: Pause, Rejoice, Ask, Yield.

Jesus says our hearts will always follow our treasure. In the kingdom of earth, even when we give to the needy it's just a show: our treasure is the praise of others. In the Kingdom of Heaven, though, the only witness that matters is God. And when we put our treasure where God's heart is, we receive the greatest reward ever.
