With how much traction this "translation" if it is even proper to call it that, it should be in your library. But not as a text for scripture but as a reference so you can see how Simmons adds his own understanding and thoughts to the text. While the name calls it a translation.. It Is NOT!!! It is at best a Commentary styled Paraphrase. It is very Biased and shifts the text toward NAR doctrine, almost as if that is the stained glass window that is used to approach a rewording of Scripture. This translation is dangerous to young believers, just in the fact that it claims to be a translation, while it obviously is not.
