• This book by Beth Moore is an amazing masterpiece! I have never did a thorough study of the Vine until now - through this book. This took me on a journey through Horticulture with some words I had never heard of or even thought of. Roots, soil, rocks, plants, microorganisms, and everything else. John 15 is the chapter in this book where Jesus states "I am the Vine, you are the branches. Abide in me." Wood and ties. These are essential to a growing vine. Wood and nails. These were essential to the true Vine. God’s directional leading for our personal lives often unfurls in bits of light between shadows. Christianity is not simply about believing the right things (though this is important). Nor is it simply a matter of living a Christ-like life (though this is important too). Christian experience must necessarily have a mystical, spiritual, non-quantifiable dimension. To be a disciple means having the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit living in us ([John] 14:23-26). It means having a supernatural, interior experience that is completely unlike anything available in the world. It is a way of believing (doctrine) and a way of living (ethics), but these are nurtured by the life-giving connection with Jesus Christ.” - GARY M. BURGE This book is just absolutely amazing!

        1. This book was a real blessing to me. I am so thankful to God that H. A. Ironside wrote this book on the life of Fannie Arthur. I read it all and did not stop until I reached the end. 1. Samuel Kaboo Morris (1873 – May 12, 1893) was a Liberian prince who converted to evangelical Christianity around the age of 14. He left Liberia for the United States of America to achieve an education at around the age of 18. He arrived at Taylor University in December 1891. A residence hall at Taylor bearing his name now exists. He died on May 12, 1893 after contracting a severe cold. Morris's life has been the subject of five novels, a number of biographies, a film, and a documentary. Taylor University dedicated three on-campus bronze statues depicting key moments in Samuel Morris's life and has named numerous buildings, scholarships, and a society in his honor. His story has helped to inspire others to go to Africa to preach the Gospel. Reading this book was the first time that I had heard about the life of Samuel Morris. This book was a great inspiration and encouragement to me. Parts of it I read with tears, being touched so by the Holy Spirit. I thank God for the life of Samuel Morris.
            1. This book was riveting! In a Digital Age, what if everything just collapsed? This story also sets up everything for the Antichrist to appear on the scene. Great reading.
              1. Mark Hitchcock has done a very good job of explaining the 2012 Mayan Apocalypse and all of the sensationalism that surrounded it. I was so fascinated with this topic and could not stop reading it until I reached the end. As we all know, the world did not end in 2012. It is now 2025, and we are waiting for our Redeemer Ling - Jesus Christ.
