Wayne Grudem is one of those gateway theologians who get a lot of people thinking about the right questions, however in the early church Grudem's later development of Trinity theology would put him in the heretical camp historically. There are a lot better current systematic theologies in the reformed camp instead of Grudem. He's a brilliant man, and I think a brother in the faith, but to be sloppy on the doctrine of God is not something you want in a systematic theologian.
