This is one of the best commentaries on Genesis! Brueggemann is in my opinion one of the best Hebrew Scriptures scholars. His prophetic and even poetic imagination reveals interesting finds in the creation stories of Genesis. Don't let the publication date or his religious affiliation push you away from reading/buying this book. Solid scholarship and surprising insights!
