- A helpful survey of many theological topics that helps get the mind rolling for study. I was disappointed that there was not much contribution from the various Dispensational points of view. Dispensational Theology is more than just Eschatology. Additionally, it is not Reformed Theology with the Rapture tacked on to it.
- Read every single one of them and I am very disappointed. I kept coming across "Augustine said" and the 'Westminster Confession says" and some proof texts to back up Augustine and the confession. One star for the good (that there is some truth in these) and a second star for giving some insight into Reformed thought. Do not give these to new believers who have not been taught how to do personal Bible study.
- Does anyone know where Mr. Keener stands theologically? Conservative? Liberal? Etc.? Just for discernment's sake as I don't know very much about him. Thank you.
- He is evangelical, teaches at Asbury Seminary. He is middle of the road, but wrestles with tough questions and such. He is highly respected across the spectrum.
