Anaphylaxic to meats, poultry, paprika, Chili powder, Cayenne, cinnamon, alcohol. I mention this because some people can't give up food for my safety. #1 reason why I never married.
Love to Own ebook version of Theological Dictionary of the Old Testament - the entire multiple volume set (will buy this within the next 5 years). No, I do not know Greek yet, and my Hebrew is lousy, but I intend to relearn Biblical Hebrew and perhaps some day, Greek. I am not into Christian fiction. I prefer highly intellectual books and philosophy. Kierkegaard is brilliant! Messianic Jewish books, Jewish books and Jewish CDs are wonderful but harder to find. (I own the Theological Dictionary of the New Testament and get to Learn Biblical Greek in 2020!
I always assumed I would be married and have at least one kid before I turned 30. I am over 50, never married and never had kids. I am quirky, a hexagon that doesn't fit in circle or square holes. My childhood caused enough brain damage and PTSD whereby people really do not know what to do with me. I was hated as a child, and never found love as an adult. And, with my food allergies, there are times when I feel like I am banned from this world and the good things that I always wanted to do in this world.
I say this to encourage you to get help for PTSD so that you don't create children like me. #2 reason why I never married. Thanks!
I can see how to use Harry Potter to witness to lost souls, to a point. I took Principles of Biblical Interpretation for pre-pastoral majors and pulled an A-. OTOH, I am not good at answering devotional questions in laymen devotionals. This is how my brain works. Its odd, quirky and doesn't always make sense to anyone, including me! I am very bright and not very bright at all depending on whether my brain is showing up at that moment. This is reason #3 why I never married. I was officially diagnosed with Shaken Baby Syndrome with a brain that randomly shows up. Its why I randomly appear to be quite intelligent and other times not intelligent at all.
I highly recommend Lifetree Cafe. They are wonderful! They show love and are truely welcoming! More churches need to understand how to be welcoming to all people.
If you have gotten this far, Mazel Tov and Congratulations! I love Australian Rules Football, F1, Cars, Rugby, Fencing, Traditional Martial Arts, Action and Adventure movies, and Jewish traditions that are Biblical. And, I love England! I am fully aware of its short comings and love it anyway. I write, cook and play at designing games.
Lastly, I do think that I will marry before I pass on. I believe that the next few years will see my growing in ways I've been praying that I'd grow in for years.
