This is a tremendous book to use with young kids. Five year olds will grasp it all. It has great questions on each phrase of the creed that can be discussed with your kids or grandkids. It is quite engaging.

Temple's commentary on John is terrific. His exposition of John 15 about the Vine and the branches is quite powerful. I look forward to reading the additional works included in this release.

This was a refreshing and thought-provoking book. I think it is one of the best reads in this past year for me. I have thought a great deal about this topic, but this book presents many examples of how we add to the Scriptures things that the original hearers would consider heretical. Some of their examples were not overly compelling, but most were clear and persuasive. I can recommend it to anyone who is seriously wanting to look below the surface on what is taught in Scripture.
