I just wanted to thank you for visiting our church group here on Faithlife. I pray that you find the services of LBC to be informing, welcoming, and fulfilling. We do not claim to be perfect at Liberty, instead we are seeking the face of Jesus by serving others in our community. Paul writes, “For as we have many members in one body, but all the members do not have the same function, so we, being many, are one body in Christ, and individually members of one another. Having then gifts differing according to the grace that is given to us, let us use them . . .” Romans 12:4-6 (NKJV) My desire as pastor here at Liberty is to preach the word (2 Timothy 4:2) and shepherd God’s people so that you will know that it’s the gospel that saves (Romans 1:16; 1 Corinthians 15:3-4), that you will grow in grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ (2 Peter 3:18), “that they may be found ‘complete in Christ’” (Colossians 1:28), and that your desire would be to “Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I commanded you” (Matthew 28:19-20). I encourage you to call upon me or the individual that invited you to church about where you might engage to use the gifts and abilities that God has given to you here at Liberty Baptist Church.
