- not bad if you want to get some idea about some difficulty of translating some passages but still sometimes raises question that it doesn't answer them! very reformed theology biased , so you probably get something like between ESV and NIV!
- How can anything by Bible.org (the NET) be reformed, as it's translated and written by scholars at Dallas Theological Seminary, who are always being blasted for not being 'reformed?' Sometimes people think that if they see the tenets of Calvinism in a writing such as this as being reformed, which isn't the case at all. Being that the NET comes from the earliest of manuscripts, it's about the most original in its translation purity, I believe, and I'm really enjoying it. Thanks for listening. Dick Scholl
- DTS is a haven for reformed theologians and biblical scholars in the Barthian, 20th century, evangelical sense. While some are a little more progressive, they are certainly more thorough and thoughtful than their colleagues down the street at Southwestern. Alexey's comment is appropriate. It is good that it raises many questions without answering them because it allows us to wrestle with the questions ourselves.
