- Wow, this is still in community pricing. If you guys can't get WEB then how about any of the several majority text versions that are out there? It's astonishing to me that Logos doesn't seem to have a single majority text translation. Suggesting NLT which is from corrupt Westcott-Hort text is bad form.
- We apologize, we still need additional bids to continue with this collection and currently to not have a release date.
- I agree with Mr. Medina. It's difficult to understand how Logos developed this package but I have to say whoever did it isn't a Pentecostal or he/she doesn't' understand the uniqueness of Pentecostal writing. I know many folks that attend a Pentecostal church but they don't understand the difference and in fact are not Pentecostal. (Look at how many of them have John MacArthur study bibles and you'll get the idea) Logos desperately needs to spend some time truly understanding this demographic, especially since it's such a large one. This collection doesn't even include the Spirit Filled Life study Bible notes, which Logos has available for purchase - I mean come on.
- After a couple of years there has been absolutely no steps taken by Logos to show a little respect to Pentecostals. These packages have had no improvements. I will not buy a Pentecostal package until they do.
- Thanks Mr Jones and Mr Medina for writing these statements. Although the comments are older, I have been interested in purchasing more Pentecostal and Charismatic material, coming from a Baptist background. Although I love logos, I do not want to buy something, just to be buying something. I was really interested in this package because of the 25% off sale, and Logos 8 imminent release is soon to follow.
- Well this is still disappointing. It's obvious that Logos does not employ or consult Pentecostals when creating these packages. A perfect and simple example is the Spirit Filled Life Study Bible is not included. This is simply too costly for me to add several authors that do not understand the obvious and simple truth of the present and continuing work of the Holy Spirit.
- I love the Logos software. It is amazing. I've used PC Study Bible for years and when I saw the Pentecostal bundle I decided to take the leap. I can't believe the difference! I feel like I'm moving from paper and pen to true digital - it's that good. That said, I also find the Pentecostal collection lacking in true Spirit-filled resources. I mean, how does this not include the Spirit-filled Life Study Bible or the Full-Life Study Bible or the NIV? (I don't like the Nearly Inspired Version but I do use it for comparison) The bundle is very costly and does seem to lack when compared to the other tradition-specific bundles of similar level. So my rating is a 5 for the software/engine 3 for the bundle. 3 overall since the bundle seems to drive the price.
