• Could we fast track the ability to purchase Book Cache for someone else? With the onset of the new business model many pastors and missionaries that are on a very small, fixed budget will not be able to afford the tools that they have been using (perhaps someone gifted them their current toolset). Also, for many pastors that do have a book stipend, they feel guilty for costing their small flock extra and so forgo purchasing resources they really should have gotten. Enabling others to Gift Book Cache will enable churches, mission boards and individuals to help fund the new recurring logos subscription fee and get additional resources. Since we want INDIVIDUALS to be able to support their pastor/missionary/family/friend's Logos resources, I do think that if it is at all possible, you should consider reducing the monthly minimum to $10 and add in a separate pass-through fee for the cost of the transaction. I do think that the ability for others to purchase Book Cache for someone else should have been enabled and promoted long ago . . . and before the current plans for the new required service model. From a business perspective I believe it would have made more money than the new subscription model will, and from a personal level it would have enabled more pastor's and missionaries to have the tools they needed. Remember for every person in the ministry, there is usually a circle of people that love that individual and want to provide in every way they know how. The current model provides for only one person to support Logos great ministry - the pastor (with his stipend). But now consider where Logos would be now, if they had allowed anyone else to support those they love in the ministry. And there would be a good chance that those who were supporting would become customers themselves. Logos has a fiduciary responsibility to keep my computer from being hacked through their system - this costs money. Logos also provides me the ability to use cloud services (computing power not on my devices) - this costs money. I am totally for Logos having a business model that provides that sustainability. I also think that allowing and promoting the ability for others to Gift Book Cache would have provided that needed "subscription" model long ago. For the sake of those who will not be able to use the tools they have in the past, please fast track the Gift Book Cache option . . . and if Book Cache takes off and becomes the steady income stream needed, please consider reducing the required subscription fees over time. I guess in the end, I would like people that spend money on Logos to be left with a good taste in their mouth - currently there is a bittersweet taste . . . knowing you need a better model, but thinking there is a better option than the one that is about to be put upon us. I could be wrong on a Gift Book Cache's potential, but that is where my heart is for Logos - which I hope will help God's Word go forth for generations to come. - The Lord bless you all as you navigate the future.
    1. Details to above - allow one monthly transaction (let's say $100) to be split between multiple users (so $20 for yourself and $10 each for specific pastors/missionaries you want to support).
