- (Review is regarding the logos edition, not the text itself which I generally find valuable.) It would be excellent if there was a more sophisticated implementation of the naming conventions used in FNV. I would love if I could just get rid of the proper names, in place of the name meanings, or at least somehow have the names formatted differently from the rest of the text. Having the names be just as dark and the same size as the rest of the text makes it impossible to not get slowed down unnecessarily, when I would prefer to just let the text flow naturally.
- I was only able to read 80 pages before Logos took it back, but what I read was a thoroughly enjoyable. Chan writes with insight from a really valuable perspective, specifically as a well rounded, historically grounded Pentecostal, and a theologian who looks through both a Western and Oriental viewpoint at contemporary theological questions. I look forward to picking this up again some day soon!
