The Things Men Do Not Do
Introduction: Did you ever watch anyone building a house? Interesting, is it not? You know, since Christ was a carpenter, it is not surprising to find Him using the building of a house as an example or parable. I. The Picture of the Parable A. Two men build houses 1. Nothing is said about the houses,…

      The Golden Rule
Introduction: More silly things are said about the Bible than about any other book. Things such as: “I like Christ’s teaching better than Paul’s because Christ is so positive.” “The Sermon on the Mount is such a nice ethic to live by.” “Just live your life by the rules of Christ and you will make it…

        Test Sermon SoundFaith
Introduction: We hear much about “gold reserve” and “balance of payments.” The national gold reserve of the United States is located in Fort Knox. The problem we face is that the reserve is not adequate to meet the demands placed upon it today. The Christian, according to Scripture, is to have a “gold…

It says in Daniel 3:1 that Nebucadnezzer "set up" the statue for worship. What are the statues in our life we "set up"? Give your worship to God only.

Prayer Request from my co-worker Could you and Mom have prayer about this: A family friend was injured yesterday and we were hoping some prayers can be said for he and his family. My husband’s family and our friends’ family have been friends for longer than the boys can remember. Our friend’s name is Gary and the event happenings are listed below: “It was a propane explosion with their water heater. His parents had propane delivered to the house yesterday and Gary went down into the basement to light the hot water heater. That is what ignited the propane. The explosion blew out a basement wall, and left debris out by the road a couple hundred feet away. His parent’s house has been deemed unlivable by the Fire Marshal. There must have been a leak in the lines somewhere as when the tank that was just filled was checked, it was empty. Gary has burns over 35% of his body and is very lucky to even be alive, praise God.

We most definitely will be lifting up Gary and his family up in prayer.

God is awesome! He is greater than our feeling. " Even if we feel guilty, God is greater than our feelings, and he knows everything." 1 John 3:20
