- I love this book and have read it multiple times. Just bought the Logos version and there are numerous broken links. They either lead to wrong passages or don't link anywhere. Kind of disappointed in the purchase. 5 stars for the book. 1 star for the Logos version.
- There's a little disclaimer below the prices - "This is a Faithlife ebook, not a Logos edition." These are sometimes also called "reader's edition." That means no hyperlinks [showing my age] to other books. At best we can expect Scripture references to be active links, but if Packer cites John Owen or John Cavin, not likely that there's a functional link to see/jump to Calvin or Owen. This allows books to be released more quickly, and for less $$. I have no idea if anything ever jumps from a reader edition to a "research edition."
- Agree Paul. If this were a novel, I wouldn't mind so much but this book is a highly acclaimed masterpiece of Christian literature. Putting this one out as a reader's edition was bad decision. The numerous link errors should warrant a redo as a Research Edition.
