These resources get right to the theological richness of each NT word. If you are wanting to move past the syntax and grammar of each word and move directly into "but what does this word mean?", then these resources will benefit you, greatly.

The POSB is surprisingly helpful. Outlining is not my strong suite, and this resource helps in that department. Not only that, but the commentary is like reading a sermon. Very practical and insightful (the Deeper Study sections are good). It won't touch much on the languages or the historical background, but it will help you structure the passage of Scripture on a homiletical level. Worth the money, no doubt.

One of the best study Bibles out there! I've used this Bible for over 10 years now and still find it very helpful. It is a great resource for the individual who wants to start digging a little deeper into their Bible. I always had the hunger to dig deeper, but the ESV Study Bible was the first practical tool that enabled me to do so on a daily basis.
