• This is the best book I've ever read, outside of the Bible! It breathes new life into the heart through the Spirit, freeing the mind from the cliched jargon of 'systematic theology'.
    1. Have read portions of this books on various fora. If only I could read it! Had a brother in Christ in USA who'd have sent it to me but sadly he is deceased. Costs about 2000 rupees in India and that's quite a tidy sum!
  • This book is superb! It's beautifully organized and the tables and charts wonderfully communicate important relationships. It captures a metaphysical approach to all language (not just NT Greek) which is extremely illuminating: for example, his continued emphasis on the distinction between ontological and phenomenological meaning. One application of this is the lesson he drills home regarding aspect and 'aktionsart'. Other useful distinctions (among so many!) include the difference between portrayal and reality, or possibility and probability - the latter when discussing grammatical moods. I cannot imagine instruction that would be better suited for providing a foundation in developing one's exegetical skills. Logos workers, you have done an excellent job putting this all together and have fully succeeded in making this book easy and effective to use! Thank you!
