Habernas remains one of the premier Christian apologists of the 21 century. North possesses reputable expertise as a church historian.

Cottrell is one of the best non-Reformed theologians writing theology. Albeit his polemical adherence to Disciples of Christ theological distinctness, it would be a mistake to dismiss him.

Essential for understanding the larger Reformed movement.

Classic Methodist theologian. Very good in understanding pre-critical non-Reformed scholarship and theology.

Classic pre-critical commentary. Godet remains helpful, however.

A must for Pastoral studies.

Highly underrated. Culver should be on every pastor's shelf.

Other translations are better. Good to consult when preparing sermons, however.
