Hello Professor Wallace, What answer would you give to a Muslim who says the Gospel of Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John is in fact not the Gospel? It is said by a Muslim friend that the Gospel [Injil] that Jesus "brought" [It sounds to me like Muslims believe Jesus brought an actual book with Him] was in fact lost and what Christians call the Gospel is only the work of mankind.
