Is there a way for my logos library on a laptop to show all my resources when doing a passage search even if it is not dowloaded? Also on the iPad I am able to use resources in the cloud as long as I am connected to the internet. Is this available for a desktop/laptop?
- Jeremy Spence, in addition to the Library itself, the only part of the app that makes use of your cloud library is search. There's a section in the Basic and Everything searches that will return results from your cloud library. We'd like to bring cloud-resource awareness to Guides and other parts of the app in the future. The mobile app allow you to stream resources from the cloud. We haven't built that feature yet for the desktop app. We'd like to eventually, but for now a book much be download first before it can be read. In the meantime, you might consider using the web app for quick access to resources in your cloud library.
- Phil Gons (Faithlife) Would you say the web app is the best way to access all your resources? I know it has limited abilities, but is that the way to go to actually tap into everything in your library?
- Rev. Kevin Obermeyer, not necessarily. If you have space for your whole library offline on desktop and spend most of your time there already, that'll be the best solution for you. But if you have limited drive space on your desktop and want quick access to a resource you'll only occasionally need and don't want to use up precious space on your drive, the web app is a great solution.
