From the Apostle Peter: "Put on humility because God sets-(Himself)-against the proud, but He gives grace to the humble. Therefore, be-humbled under the mighty hand of God, that He may exalt you in a time.*" (1 Peter 5:5b-6.)
And, from the Apostle James, "Be-humbled before the Lord, and He will exalt you." (James 4:10; LITV)
We can walk close to the Lord; in the Spirit, and He can lead us; but only if we resist highmindness and remain humble and submitted to Him!!
