Good afternoon,
I hope you are having a great Memorial Day. I know that the global pandemic, COVID-19 has caused plenty of grief and discomfort for everyone so please, adhere to all necessary precautions, not only for your sake but for those around you. In the mean-time do not forget the men and women who gave their lives for God and country. Today is the day that we take pause to remember our brave heroes and what their sacrifice has secured. There are many who pledged their lives, and by the grace of God, made it home. However, no soldier, no marine, airman, or sailor returns home unwounded.
COVID-19 has left a wake of destruction all over the world so this year, I am inviting you to join me in praying for all men and women in uniform: police officers, firemen, doctors, nurses, and EMTs. The Coronavirus is no respecter of person, whether rich or poor, young or old. It does not discriminate against race, creed, gender nor religious belief. As a result, uniformed civil servants also make great sacrifices to fight for God and country. For all who are valiantly fighting to save lives, my prayers are fervent and continual. Thank you all for your service! Salute!
