How to link a note to another note?
This may be very easy to do but I can't figure out how to do it, despite much head scratching and help reading.
The goal is that I have two existing notes, A and B. I would like to create a clickable link in note A that would open note B.

Thank you very much for the instructions, Lawrence Rafferty . There are traces (pasted URLs/L4s) in my notes of my having gone down this path, but I gave up. I successfully did my goal (clickable link in note A that opens to note B). I put the edited URL into note A by pasting it. When I did that and then clicked elsewhere, the URL turned blue and is treated like a link. It even displays note B's text when I hover over the link. Minor details, and a question for extra credit: Detail: The link button in the toolbar (for me, to the right of the indentation buttons and to the left of the subscript button) is grayed out for me unless I move the cursor into the URL text *after* having pasted it. At that point it becomes available but if I click on it it displays the URL text (selected) in a little pop-up with a "save" button next to it. So far as I can tell the save button does nothing at all. Extra credit: Right now the link as displayed in note A is the URL. Is there a way I can replace that with a nicer display text? Analogous to blah some combination of square brackets? The hover text is very helpful and means that this display text thing is low priority.- The save button changes the destination of the link (the href), but it doesn't change the link text. The way I did it is to first type the nice text you want hyperlinked, then select it, then click the hyperlink button on the toolbar, paste the URL and click save. You can also use the ctrl/cmd+k keyboard shortcut to open the hyperlink menu.
- Thanks again! I'll play around with it.
