Have you ever felt compelled to do something? You just have that drive that if you don't get whatever it is done you will burst.
Paul had that drive in his heart and we see that in 1 Corinthians 9:16, "For if I preach the gospel, I have no reason to boast, because I am compelled to preach - and woe to me if I do not preach the gospel."
What better thing for you and I to be compelled to do than to preach the gospel of Jesus Christ. This is something that I have to do. God has called me to preach and that is what I must do. If I do not preach the wonderful message of Jesus than I do feel as though I will burst open.
The gospel of Jesus is good news to all people. The word gospel simply means to proclaim good news. You and I have good news because Jesus gave His life on the cross so that you and I might be made right with God. Once we accept that good news, we should have a compelling with in us to share that good news with others.
Today, I wanted to take the time to share that good news with you. Jesus loves you and gave His life on the cross so that you, along with me, could be free. It is my prayer that each of you have accepted that good news and if you have not I challenge to reach out and I would be glad to share the good news with you even more for as I said, I am compelled to preach the gospel.
