What if pain is the platform of grace?
“What we do see is Jesus, who for a little while was given a position “a little lower than the angels”; and because he suffered death for us, he is now “crowned with glory and honor.” Yes, by God’s grace, Jesus tasted death for everyone.”
Hebrews 2:9
Without the pain we would neither recognize or need God’s grace. We would have no need to call out to Him, to run to Him or to trust in Him. We try hard to outrun the pain in order to remain comfortable.
Jesus wasn’t born in a comfortable environment and he did not die in one either. But what Jesus did do was experience His Fathers grace in death so that we could live without fear of pain or death.
What if pain is the platform of grace? What if you realize that the same grace that allowed Jesus to walk out of the tomb is the same grace that God wants to provide to you?
“In his kindness God called you to share in his eternal glory by means of Christ Jesus. So after you have suffered a little while, he will restore, support, and strengthen you, and he will place you on a firm foundation.”
1 Peter 5:10
So, What If pain is the platform of grace?
“So let us come boldly to the throne of our gracious God. There we will receive his mercy, and we will find grace to help us when we need it most.”
Hebrews 4:16
