PRAYING
AROUND THE WORLD:
Jonathan
and Joy White
March 3, 2021 •
Missoula, Mont.
Jonathan White is
a collegiate/university missionary for Grizzly Christian Fellowship in
Missoula, Mont.
After eight years
of collegiate ministry in Southern California, my wife, Joy, and I are in the
process of joining a ministry called Grizzly Christian Fellowship at the
University of Montana in Missoula, Mont. It is exciting to take the gospel to a
place known by locals as “the school where faith goes to die.” We are overjoyed
to join the efforts of Grizzly Christian Fellowship in seeing students
come to Christ and learn to make disciples who make disciples for the glory of
God in the Northwest! Our greatest need in order to make this happen is
housing. Missoula is flooded with buyers and renters, but there are no housing
vacancies. This is driving costs through the roof! Please pray God will provide
us a home large enough to host college students. Pray God will transform the
lives of hardened atheistic students. Pray Christian students will take the
Great Commission seriously and become disciple-making evangelists!
Yangon, Myanmar
(yan-GONG) - Last
April, you were asked to pray for Mr. Wilson,* a former Buddhist monk who
surrendered his life to Jesus and was baptized. When he was baptized, this was
his testimony: "I am in my fifties. All my life, I had been searching for
God. But I could not find Him. It was like I was walking down a dark road and
couldn't see anything around me. I tried to pray, but I never found any
answers." Nearly one year later, Mr. Wilson's life is a testimony of the
power of God. He is faithfully sharing the gospel wherever he goes. He is
learning more about how to be a disciple and believes that God wants him to be
an evangelist to unreached peoples. Whenever his pastor goes out to share the
gospel, he asks to follow along to serve and share. Praise the Lord for His
continued work in Mr. Wilson's life! Pray that
Mr. Wilson will continue to grow in his faith so that he may be obedient in
every good work that God has prepared for him
to do (Ephesians 2:10).
Ask that many will put their faith in Christ because of his bold witness.

Indigenous
Cluster, Isolated Peoples of the Amazon Basin Team – Jenna* and Julia*, our two mid-term
teammates, just returned from Lorococha*. They have given us great reports from
their time ministering with the women there. Two women learned the first three
stories in their indigenous language and are equipped to share with others.
This was such an encouragement! Pray for Jenna* and Julia* as they
prepare for two more trips to Lorococha*. The first trip was 2/17-3/5, and
the second trip will be 3/24-4/9. Pray for these amazing women as they
continue to share the love of our Savior with the Rasha* and Akawa* women of
Lorococha*. (*names changed)
