WEEKLY PRAYER LIST: JUNE 2 –
8, 2021
““Therefore, you should pray like this: Our Father
in heaven, Your name be honored as holy. Your kingdom come. Your will be done
on earth as it is in heaven. Give us today our daily bread. And forgive us our
debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors. And do not bring us into
temptation, but deliver us from the evil one. [For Yours is the kingdom and the

Matt and Andrea Boyd
June 2, 2021 • Portland, Ore.
Matt Boyd and his wife,
Andrea, together planted Sojourn Church in Portland, Ore.
The year 2020 was a refining
year for us, and we are looking at 2021 as a rebuilding year. Pray as we form a
partnership with a local church that is committed to helping us raise up more
laborers who will help fill specific roles in worship, children’s ministry,
administration and communications. Additionally, pray for our outreach efforts
this summer as we have five college interns joining us who will help us build
new relationships as we seek to make disciples who make disciples. Finally,
pray we will be patient and endure as we wait for Portland to fully reopen from
coronavirus restrictions. Pray Jesus will continue to build His church despite
regulations regarding gatherings, outreach events, etc.

Praise the Lord for Art* and
his family, who recently graduated from their first cycle of Bible School.
After six months of being away, they safely returned to their village, where
they serve among the Fulanke (pronounced foo-LAHN-kay). Please pray for them as
they grieve the loss of two dear friends in the village during their absence.
One was a believer, but the other was not. Lift up the few believers there,
asking that they will remain faithful and grow in their faith and in number.
Ask the Lord to provide for this family and to provide helpers for them as they
reestablish their presence among the Fulanke. There is much physical work to be
done before the rainy season, including repairing their mud hut and latrine,
preparing their garden, and restarting their chicken farm and tailoring
business. This is their only means of income. Ask the Lord to bring Fulanke
alongside to help them with these daunting tasks. During the process, may the
Lord use this as an open door for these helpers to receive and accept the full
message of salvation. Ask the Lord for laborers to join in the harvest among
the Fulanke. (*name changed)
Wednesday, June 2 – HPZ
Ambassador, Tim and Iracema Kunkel – Please pray for the family of a pastor
and his family in Uruguay. All seven of their family are recovering from COVID.
Two were more affected. Please pray for Samantha* as she was hospitalized for a
week and for Darius* that was not hospitalized but greatly affected. Pray
please for a full recovery. (*names changed)
Indigenous
Cluster, Isolated Peoples of the Amazon Basin Team – Pray for our team as we deal with the realities of
trying to do paperwork and renew passports in a country whose restrictions seem
everchanging. While paperwork is never fun, the pandemic has added another
level of difficulty to the process. Pray specifically for the Rush* family to be
able to renew their kids' passports and get all their paperwork up to date to
go on stateside assignment. Ask God for appointment availability and for favor
with government officials.
Indigenous Cluster, North
Coast Colombia Team, Cartagena, Colombia – Thank you for lifting up the arrival and training of two Cuban
families who recently joined our team. We ask now that you would pray for them
as they begin work among unreached people groups and settle into life here in
Colombia
