Hi NRCC Family,
A lady and her 3 children will be in need of a place to live in one month. The house they’ve been renting is being sold. They contacted The Master’s Touch through Facebook. Any ideas? She can be contacted on Facebook at https://www.facebook.com/ashley.fenstermacher.
This Saturday we're looking for volunteers on two fronts:
1) Ride on the NRCC float in the Shrimp Festival parade. Meet at the Church 7:45am, depart 8am. We have tshirts for those who want them, $10 each. All ages, just show up!
2) Tents and booths for Churches are welcome at Salem Baptist. The purpose is to introduce people to the various congregations of Sneads Ferry. The banner reads “Worship with us in the Ferry.” It will be from 10am-3pm and you can hand out
snacks, tracts, Church information, have games, etc. Portajohns are available for the public. Church booth participants can use the Church facilities. Anyone interested in this? Please contact Pastor Steve.
Our next Community Prayer will be Sunday, Oct. 24, 6pm at NRCC. On
Nov. 21 we’ll have a joint Thanksgiving Service and Communty prayer time at the
Sneads Ferry Presbyterian Church at 6pm. Please come and pray together… our community, nation and world needs it!
The Celebration of Light will be Sunday, Oct. 31, 6-8pm at N. Topsail Shores Baptist Church. NRCC will have two pop-up tents with a games. Candy will be given for prizes at each booth. Volunteeers are needed to man the booths. Besides the booths, volunteers are needed in several areas: set up (3pm), monitoring bounce houses, actors for the biblical skits (recorded scripts), hayride monitors, tear down and cleanup after (8-9pm). Please let Pastor know how you will help make this a Christ-centered event for the children of our community.
In His Service,
Steve Allen
