οἶκος [oikos /oy·kos/] noun

family; household(1Cor 1:16); lineage, family line (Luke 2:4); people of Israel (Acts 2:36); the family of God (1 Peter 2:5; Hebrews 3:6).

Oikos is the Greek word for family. An OIKOS Community is a group of people who come together for the purpose of learning to love God, love people, and love each other. After all, that is what a healthy family does, right?

We follow Jesus together! We grow together! We celebrate together! An individual Oikos may meet at a local restaurant, a coffee shop, a residential home, a park, or even a church. But first and foremost we strive to obey Jesus together!

Matthew 28:18-20 says "All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.” -Jesus
