20 If someone says, “I love God,” but hates a fellow believer,* that person is a liar; for if we don’t love people we can see, how can we love God, whom we cannot see? 21 And he has given us this command: Those who love God must also love their fellow believers.”
As you read through the Bible you notice that God cares about how we treat and relate to each other. He talks about love and unity. He tells us that this way of relating to each other will reveal the heart and love of God. When we love, we prove to be His disciples.
In a world where everyone seems to be on the verge of "losing their cool" (and feeling quite justified in doing so), love speaks with far greater volume. We learn to love God by loving each other!
Practice loving. Embrace patience. Take the route of kindness. Start at home and work your way out to others. When we begin to learn how to take our eyes off of ourselves and see and care for others, our credibility as a witness of the gospel will skyrocket.
