Problem
Logos version 10.
"Show Left Sidebar" option cannot be set either on or off as the default display option for some resources.
I've noticed this mostly in Bibles. I want most of them to display initially without the Sidebar table of contents. Some display with the Sidebar; some display without the Sidebar. Whether I open or close the sidebar by clicking the upper left-hand corner icon or check/uncheck the Show Left Sidebar option in the Panel menu, the next time I display the resource, the Sidebar is displayed in some "default" display for that resource.
Questions
- How do I turn it off permanently in a resource?
- How do I turn it off by default globally and turn it on only on resources where I want its help?
- Hello Jeffrey, You are able to turn the left sidebar off permanently in a resource by going to the Panel Menu in the resource (located in the three dots in the top right corner of the resource) and unchecking the option "Show left sidebar". Unfortunately, there is no option to turn this on at the same time for some resources. To set show this as default you can check the mark in the panel menu of the resource. Here you have more information about the Resources Panel Menu https://support.logos.com/hc/en-us/articles/360016752571-Resource-Panel-Menu
- I tried that method. Neither "Off" nor "On" remains permanent. Some always display it On; others always display it Off. I am using Logos 10.
- Please call in about this, Jeffrey Gardner. They're available until 6 PM PST still today. 6 AM - 6 PM Monday - Saturday.
