Smyrna: The Persecuted Church
Smyrna is known as the persecuted church. The Christians in this church suffered tremendous persecution, but they remained faithful to God despite their circumstances. Jesus promised this church a crown of life and to not be hurt by the second death. This same promise applies to overcomers today. We must remain (1) fearless, (2) fortified, and (3) faithful.
