God put us in our families for a reason. To bring trouble on our family is to possibly frustrate the plan of God in our lives. There are no perfect families yet I have found that we are uniquely equipped to help and challenge each other in ways that build our character. Just because family members are challenging doesn’t mean it is a bad thing.
The second part of this Proverb is true beyond words. The wise exercise discipline which is needed to be successful in life where as the fool scoffs at such discipline. As a result it is inevitable that the fool will be a servant to the wise. Wisdom helps one be successful where as being a fool yields hardships, and puts them at the mercy of others charity. They often will serve the wise to make ends meet.
