As we concluded the book of Judges, we saw variations of these phrases, "In those days there was no king in Israel" and " Everyone did what was right in his own eyes." And the final stories put an exclamation mark on that. These are not pretty scenes. But there is anticipation and a hope for a good king to rule. May we have a greater expectation of the Greatest King (Jesus) to rule in a day when it seems like everyone is doing what is right in his own eyes.
