Welcome to Mobile Ed Summer Session: NT281. As we explore how we got the New Testament in NT281, you are able to take notes, interact with other users, and have fun exploring the course and its content with your Mobile Ed Summer Session Facilitor and Dr. Michael Heiser!

This is a cohort that will work through the material together with a 2 week study plan. There is no pressure to work at this 1 hour per day pace, but this will help you move through the material in community with others and allow you to be on schedule for completing the NT cornerstone certificate this summer in 6 weeks.

Dr. Heiser's NT281 examines the history of the New Testament text from its inspiration, to the discovery and transmission of manuscripts, to the use of these manuscripts in modern English translations. It explores the role of scribes in the transmission process and discusses significant Greek New Testament manuscripts upon which modern translations are based. Also included is a discussion of translation philosophies and controversies.
