When I search for regions like "Rephidim" using the Atlas tool on my PC, an appropriate map opens ("The Exodus from Egypt"), but the map doesn't move to where that region is shown & zoom & point it out like happens with cities. It doesn't help that at the default zoom when opened, Rephidim doesn't show anywhere at all on the map even if you know where to look. You have to zoom in quite a bit in the southern Sinai for it to appear.
So: why does a search for a region act so differently (and uselessly) compared to a search for a city?
